Depending on the process, the parts are treated before and after the actual plating.

The pre-treatment process is tailored for each material and can be chemical or mechanical. Depending on the plating, we offer chemical pre-treatment such as degreasing, pickling, activation and conversion coatings. As a mechanical pre-treatment step we offer sandblasting.
At the end of the process a mechanical post-treatment might be necessary. This would be the drilling of holes after the painting process or grinding, for example due to metal rests after hot dip galvanizing process.
